Well, we knew it anyway, but now it’s official. Tradies are amongst the happiest workers in Australia.
Tradies, regional workers all smiles
“Tradesmen and those living in regional areas are the happiest workers in Australia, according to the Bankwest Happiness Survey.
Out of all the jobs surveyed, technicians and trade workers were happiest with their employers and their pay packets and were just pipped at the post by community service workers to be those happiest with their job in general.
Community service workers, who encompass many of the lowest-paid people in WA, were the most unhappy with their wages, a third reporting they were deeply unhappy about their remuneration, despite more than half saying they were extremely happy in their job…”
